Week 3

Another weekend has come and gone. We had yet another busy couple of days with daughter no 2 having an exhausting 15 hours of volleyball prac. For son no 1 the football has finally finished and netball is over for another season, so our weekends will be our own. How will we fill our saturday arvos?? What does everyone else actually DO with their 6th and 7th days of the week? Fill me in, if you can. Am I game to think we might spend some time just by ourselves, the husband and I, is that what happens when sporting commitments are over for the year??? Another one of life's questions.

As our minds dare to wander to the thoughts of holidays, where will we go, what will we do. My workmates tease me with stories of far away places. Where will be our final destination?

Question - what was YOUR favorite holiday and why?

Until then, cheers to those 6th and 7th days of the week, here they come......

Hi Jules
I think my favourite holidays will always be the early childhood ones, driving interstate in the family car ... when the summer seemed to go on forever ... am I too young for nostalgia?

One holiday drive in the country, there was a really spectacular thunderstorm and I was terrified. Mum put on our Play School song tapes and we sang along till I stopped crying. My sister told me not to be such a sook, then she got car sick as usual.

I wonder if my parents' favourite holidays were before they had children?
